hear ME now offers both in-home and tele-services to help infants and toddlers with hearing loss. These options allow you to find the quality listening and spoken language (LSL) services your family needs, no matter where you live, in a way that best suits your lifestyle. You can access our services through your child’s early intervention plan with Child Development Services (CDS). If you prefer, we also participate with Mainecare and many private medical insurance plans.
What is LSL early intervention?
LSL early intervention teaches you how to make your baby’s listening and spoken language development part of your everyday routines.
hear ME now early intervention providers are specially trained speech language pathologists called Listening and Spoken Language Specialists (LSLS). We partner with parents to observe and strengthen LSL interactions that are already occurring in their daily lives. Through regularly scheduled sessions, you’ll learn different techniques and strategies you can use every day. Sessions are provided in your home, or remotely through tele-therapy. We have over 10 years of experience working with families through tele-therapy. Our goal is to collaborate with parents to make the most of every moment that happens in their homes and communities as they care for, play with, and live with their children.
